How do you tell people about benefits fraud? You share anecdotes inspired by real-life experiences. We were tasked with developing an awareness campaign for ASEBP (Alberta School Employee Benefit Plan) to let their members know that claiming false benefits doesn’t just affect them but everyone else too. Balancing seriousness and approachability, the title ‘Nobody Benefits’, conveys gravity while softening the message through vibrant colors and bold typography to pique curiosity.

We chose to break traditional advertising rules by incorporating longer copy than typically seen on graphics. This approach allowed us to provide more detailed information and context, making our message more impactful and engaging for the audience.
We also designed a print package with posters and brochures that was sent to employers to display and distribute.
The Results
Their ad in the ATA magazine reached 36,500 teachers, employing programmatic ads in March and May with various targeting techniques like site retargeting and geo-fencing schools across Alberta. Results exceeded expectations with high click-through rates, demonstrating the campaign's effectiveness in raising awareness and fostering engagement.
